Take on a crucial role at Irving Shipbuilding as a Quality Control Specialist focusing on paint inspections. Based in Halifax, you'll oversee compliance and foster quality at every step of the process.
In this full-time position, you'll engage with internal stakeholders and clients to secure approvals while ensuring high standards in our shipbuilding operations. Your duties will involve thorough inspections, maintaining documentation, and implementing ISO standards to support ongoing quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections for quality assurance
• Interact with clients and internal teams for approvals
• Incorporate hold points into production processes
• Regularly check for safety and cleanliness standards
• Generate NCRs and CARs for any quality issues
Requirements:
• Red Seal Trade Certification or equivalent expertise
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in inspections
