Postdoctoral Fellow – Faculty of Information, University of Toronto

The Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship as part of Professor Rohan Alexander’s NSERC Alliance project, Novel Statistical and Machine Learning Algorithms for Analysis of Canadian Political Donations and Lobbying Data (ALLRP ). The project focuses on entity resolution, record linkage, data validation, large language models, natural language processing, and data cleaning.

Description of Duties

• Conduct research that advances the grant project’s goal of developing new methods for working with messy, real‑world public interest datasets.
• Collaborate with the industry partner, the Investigative Journalism Foundation, on applied research.
• Complete all duties of a postdoctoral fellow without teaching responsibilities.
