Investigative Analyst

Summary This position is located in the Office of Criminal Investigations (OCI), which protects public health and furthers the FDA mission by investigating suspected criminal violations of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) and other related laws. Responsibilities Researches, analyzes, collects, and produces investigative data, studies, trends, and patterns; and identifies intelligence gaps in furtherance of criminal investigations. Collects information in support of investigations and develops evidence to be utilized in the prosecution of criminal cases, and/or to pursue civil remedies. Prepares professional reports, charts, documents, and other materials which support findings and conclusions. Serves as the evidence custodian gathering, processing, distributing, documenting, and ensuring custody of case evidence Serves as the imprest fund cashier, verifying and processing cash payouts for criminal investigation purposes per established policy.
