Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic (Intermodal)

Intermodal Heavy Duty Mechanics perform major and minor repairs, overhauls, and servicing on all types of vehicles, vehicle attachments, and material handling equipment. This position requires working night shifts and partial weekends.

Working Conditions

• Ability to work irregular shifts, including evenings, midnights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, performing overhead work, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds (22 kg).
• Shop environment, ability to work inside shop and outside shop in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 60 feet.
• Comply with safe work procedures and policies.
