Position Overview: The Intelligent Virtual Agent (IVA) Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and NestJS. The successful candidate will integrate software solutions with relational databases, support production environments on AWS, and drive data quality. The engineer will work collaboratively in an agile scrum environment, contributing to deployment automation, documentation, and supporting testing activities.
**This role requires 1 day each week onsite in Rosslyn, VA.**
**Software Development:**
+ Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-native web applications using React, Next.js (frontend), and NestJS (backend), following a modular, service-oriented architecture.
+ Implement AWS-native infrastructure patterns including Lambda functions, API Gateway, S3, and ECS/Fargate in lieu of traditional IIS/server-based hosting.
