The University of Prince Edward Island is looking for Sessional Instructors to drive the Environmental Studies Program during the fall semester. Applicants must either possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field or demonstrate equivalent professional experience. The focus will be on helping students engage with pressing environmental issues and their historical contexts, fostering research collaborations and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach ENV-2310 – Island Environmental Histories course
• Oversee in-class and practicums for hands-on learning
• Mentor students in developing action research projects
• Provide assessments and constructive encouragement
• Promote interdisciplinary analysis in historical contexts
