Instructor, Plumber/Gasfitter

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students enrolled in the Plumber/Gasfitter program.
• Design and implement a student-centered learning environment using an outcome-based approach in either a face-to-face or online delivery mode.
• Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures and demonstrations using principles of adult learning.
• Develop new curriculum, training aids, and materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in the Plumber trade completed with a General Gas and/or Domestic Gas certificate.
• Two years’ recent/relevant post-journeyperson experience as a Plumber/Gasfitter.
