Instructional Designer

Overview


The Instructional Designer collaborates with faculty members to enhance and maintain asynchronous online courses. Rooted in prior teaching experience, this role focuses on creating engaging and effective course content while providing hands-on support to faculty throughout their teaching. Instructional Designers are experts in instructional design, learning theory, student engagement strategies, and the use of Learning Management Systems. They also facilitate live training sessions and workshops to assist faculty in adopting emerging technologies and pedagogical best practices. The Instructional Designer will maintain a list of faculty members and the asynchronous online courses they teach, ensuring these courses are kept current by assisting faculty with necessary updates.
