Industrial painter

Job Description

As Industrial painter, you will be responsible for preparing and applying various types of coatings to ship surfaces and components. You will use equipment such as airless or conventional spray pumps and shot blasting machines.

Salary

• Salary of $33.41/hour for the first 1,000 hours, then $37.11/hour.
• Evening premium $2.00/hour and weekend premium $2.50/hour.
• Frigate premium $1.25/hour for naval vessels, regardless of shift.
• Overtime paid at double time.

Work Schedule

• Day: week of 4 days × 10 hours.
• Evening: week of 4 days × 10 hours, plus $2.00/hour premium.
• Weekend: week of 3 days × 12 hours (paid for 40 hours), plus $2.50/hour premium.

You must be available for all shifts. Although we take your schedule preferences (day, evening, weekend) into account, they cannot be guaranteed.
