Responsibilities Analyze and redesign production or administrative processes Implement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing, Six sigma or Kaizen Experience in mechanical design (preferred) Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions Manage inventories and materials Evaluate production and operating costs Prepare budgets and financial analysis for projects Implementation of new production lines Search for savings opportunities Study times and movements to improve productivity Train personnel in continuous improvement and industrial safety Automate processes through software or machinery Participate in the digitalization of operation (Industry 4.0) Evaluate and select technological tools.
