Summary About the Position: Serves as HQ Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS) Human Resources Specialist performing Human Resources Management (HR) Programs assignments ARTRANS-wide. Performs a wide variety of duties that cross functional HR areas. Responsibilities Assist with recruitment, placement, RIF, and related programs, including processing appointments, promotions, and special employment programs. Provide advisory services on recruitment and placement actions, including identifying staffing problems and developing solutions. Conduct evaluations of ARTRANS HR program accomplishments through reports, on-site visits, and surveys. Recommend and establish procedures for evaluating program effectiveness and compliance with policies and standards. Prepare slides for various meetings and reports using tracked information.
