**Description:**
A cashier plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of a retail establishment, restaurant, or any business that involves monetary transactions. Their primary responsibility is to handle customer payments, process purchases, and provide excellent customer service accurately and efficiently. Cashiers are responsible for calculating the total amount due, issuing receipts, and giving change when necessary.
