Role Overview

Wood is currently seeking a HSSE Director for mining projects to join the Mining & Metals projects team in Santiago, Chile. The role will provide leadership and direction for the HSE department to hire and train qualified expertise, engage personnel on projects and improve department work processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the HSE department.
• Hire and train qualified HSE expertise.
• Engage personnel on projects.
• Improve department work processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE Management System, Customer Safety Policies and governmental regulations by supervising the development of procedures and safety plans and ensuring proper execution.
