HIM Records Clerk

The Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for managing patient demographics, verifying patient insurance coverage, and processing claims in an accurate and timely manner. The Revenue Cycle Specialist performs all tasks in accordance with best practices, policies, and procedures.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ High School Diploma or GED
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operation role preferred
+ Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
+ Ability to exercise initiative, and work independently with little supervision
+ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work under pressure, manage conflict, and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
+ Ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written, with physicians, nursing facility staff, patients, responsible parties, and other members of the team
