We are seeking an experienced Transportation/Roadway Engineer to join our Lansing team and support MDOT roadway and bridge projects across Michigan. The job is in office, mandatory 2 days per week and remote work eligible 3 days per week. This is a hands-on technical role for engineers who enjoy producing high-quality designs, solving complex roadway and drainage challenges, and mentoring junior staff—while contributing to impactful transportation infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Roadway & Civil Design
Develop design criteria, geometric layouts, alignments, superelevation, and detailed roadway calculations.
Produce construction plans and proposal packages in accordance with MDOT’s Plan Development Guide and Design Wiki.
Apply advanced 3D modeling techniques to deliver accurate, high-quality roadway designs.
