Description

The Department of Medicine and the Division of Hematology (Ottawa Blood Disease Centre) at the University of Ottawa and The Ottawa Hospital is looking for two hematologists specializing in Benign Hematology to join in our growing team and lead in clinical care, education and research as a full-time academic faculty member.

The Division of Hematology (The Ottawa Blood Disease Centre) is a large group of 41 faculty that work within a group practice plan model within the University of Ottawa and The Ottawa Hospital academic centre. The Division has three well-defined and successful clinical and research programs: Malignant Hematology, Thrombosis and Benign Hematology.

The benign hematology group with 9 faculty members includes dedicated programs in Apheresis, Hemostasis, Hemoglobinopathy, Transfusion Medicine, and General Hematology. The Ottawa Hospital is the regional referral centre and operates large and supported clinics in Hemostasis/ Bl...
