Join Habonim’s Jewish Heritage School for the year in Hebrew and Jewish Studies, teaching students in mixed grades. Engage with the community every Sunday morning while fostering a love for Hebrew language and Jewish traditions.
We are looking for enthusiastic and innovative teachers for SK-Grade 6 classes. You’ll lead lessons focused on reading, writing, prayers, Israeli history, and ethical values. Flexibility in adapting lessons for diverse learning styles is essential, especially for both in-person and online learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare engaging lessons for mixed-grade classes
• Facilitate positive class dynamics and activities
• Manage communication with families and take attendance
• Develop materials like worksheets and presentations
• Report weekly activities to the Director of Education
