Position Summary

The Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of heavy mobile and stationary equipment used in a steel mill environment. This role supports mill operations by ensuring equipment reliability, operational safety, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. The Technician will work on large, off‑road and industrial equipment under demanding conditions where safety, precision, and uptime are critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy industrial equipment including wheel loaders, dozers, excavators, cranes, material handlers, and support equipment
