Heavy Equipment Mechanic (EAGLE 2026-25677):
Bowhead seeksaHeavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in support of the Maintenance and Supply Divisions at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Aberdeen,MD.The Maintenance Division Heavy Equipment Mechanic performs a combination of tasks to support departmental operations. Typical duties include analyzing malfunctions and repairing/rebuilding heavy equipment.
This position is governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and employees are required to join after beginning employment.
**Responsibilities**
Essential functions will include:
+ Analyzes malfunctions.
+ Repairs, rebuilds, and maintains power equipment, such as cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools.
