Heavy Duty Mechanic

Terry Lavallee Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers. This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime and ensuring our equipment remains safe, reliable, and ready for work. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, mechanically inclined, and able to troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and attachments.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, fuel, air brake, and diesel engine systems.
• Repair and replace components including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and driveline parts.
