Heavy Duty Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.

Replace faulty parts and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.

Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.

Follow company safety policies and maintenance procedures.

Keep the workshop and tools clean and organized.

Requirements:

Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.

Experience maintaining heavy trucks, excavators, loaders, forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment.

Good knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
