Healthcare Scientist (Health Protection)

Armed with a post‑graduate qualification or equivalent experience in health or research, and a proven record in health protection, epidemiology or public health, you will work across four of ARHAI Scotland’s five Priority Programmes – NPGE (National Policies, Guidance and Evidence), ICBED (Infection Control in Built Environment & Decontamination), CHIPC (Community Antimicrobial Resistance & Healthcare Associated Infection) and Clinical Assurance .

Responsibilities

• Support consultants, programme leads and senior nursing and scientific staff in the provision of specialised information, advice and support to stakeholders.
• Produce scientific literature reviews, including the analysis, interpretation and presentation of epidemiological and surveillance data.
• Participate in relevant research activities and contribute to evidence‑based guidance development.
