Opportunity Description
The HSE Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites. This role involves the implementation and continuous improvement of safety programs, conducting safety inspections, providing training, and fostering a culture of safety among all employees and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, including Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in HSE legislation and communicate updates to the team.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
