Salary Band: Band 3 ($51,074 – $76,611 · $26.19 – $39.29/hr)

POSITION PURPOSE

The Health Care Assistant (HCA) provides frontline, hands‑on support to community members, assisting with daily living, personal care, and overall well‑being. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, the HCA plays a critical role in supporting Elders, individuals with chronic conditions, and those requiring additional care to remain safely in their homes and connected to their community. This role is relationship‑focused and community‑based, requiring a compassionate, respectful, and culturally safe approach to care.
