Calona Wines/Sandhill Winery facility, Downtown Kelowna, British Columbia
Employment Type
Temporary full‑time – start mid‑August; end mid‑to‑late November depending on harvest size.
Duties
- Truck receiving and forklift work, loading and unloading grape bins from trucks; washing and stacking grape bins.
- Processing grapes, including forklift work to dump grapes into hoppers, preparing ingredients, and assisting with pressing and crushing equipment.
- Moving and setting up equipment such as pumps and hoses.
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment including presses, destemmers/crushers, pumps, hoses, tanks, and tubs.
- Emptying grape skins from tanks.
- Supporting safety initiatives and compliance with EH&S regulations.
