Become a key player at Canadian Blood Services as a Phlebotomist in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This rewarding part-time position focuses on donor safety and quality blood collection services.
We are looking for two dedicated part-time Phlebotomists to join our Halifax donor centre. In this role, you will interact with donors, carry out the phlebotomy procedure, and ensure all health and safety standards are met. Your efforts will directly support our mission of saving lives through blood donation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform venipuncture and post-donation care
• Implement donor registration and eligibility checks
• Manage safe processing and labelling of blood products
• Assist with setup at community mobile donation events
• Support continuous donor experience enhancements
Requirements:
• Completion of high school; phlebotomy training preferred
