Opportunity Description
CNL is seeking Group 2 Radiation Surveyors for our Chalk River location. In this on-site role, you'll perform radiological surveys and assist in Radiation Protection tasks.
This position requires performing daily contamination control tasks, completing job-minding for assigned work, and assisting with minor decontamination tasks. You will also conduct function and source checks on Radiation Protection instruments while monitoring contamination on waste. Training and mentoring junior staff will be a key part of your responsibilities as well.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform contamination control and job-minding tasks
• Assist with minor decontamination and monitoring
• Conduct function checks of Radiation Protection equipment
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Train junior staff in Radiation Protection techniques
