Grounds Equipment Operator 2

School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson) is currently accepting applications for the position of Grounds Equipment Operator 2. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 10 months per year (Layoff period: November/December). Following successful completion of the probationary period, the incumbent will be eligible for Extended Health and Dental Benefits, as well as Group Life Insurance. School District No. 73 belongs to the Municipal Pension Plan. Under the limited supervision of the Manager of Grounds, the incumbent is required to safely and independently operate all mobile support equipment in the Grounds Department while providing advice, direction and guidance to other Grounds employees. Work is varied and requires independent judgement and initiative.
