Ground Equipment Mechanic

Job Description

• Handles the maintenance and mechanical repair tasks on ground equipment;
• Handles the maintenance and mechanical repair tasks on heavy/ light weight Air Transat vehicles.

Qualifications

• Relevant training and/or experience in this specific field.
• Experience in body bodywork with a mastery of welding (mig and tig),an asset.
• Great desire to learn all the facets of the trade.
• Team spirit, resourcefulness, ability to meet deadlines, detail oriented.
• Knowledge of propane, electrical, diesel and gas propulsive equipment; an asset.
• Ability to obtain RAIC card and DA drivers permit (Airport pass from Transport Canada).
