Responsibilities
- The Grant Writer is a central services role within the Executive & Administration department, providing government-wide grant development, writing, and stewardship support to all departments of the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Government.
- Identify funding opportunities aligned with Nation priorities, prepare high-quality proposals, manage submission timelines, and support Directors in tracking funder commitments and reporting obligations.
- Work in partnership with program leaders to translate community-driven priorities into compelling, accurate funding applications that respect Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ self-government.
- Maintain a living pipeline of funding opportunities and advise on strategic value.
- Draft, edit, and submit grant applications and letters of intent on behalf of all departments.
- Ensure proposals reflect the Nation's self-governing status and respect traditional knowledge protocols.
