Grade 7/8/9 Teacher

St. Albert Public Schoolsis seeking a Grade 7/8/9 GOALS (Gaining Opportunities and Life Skills) Teacher to join the team at Hillgrove School for the school year.

The GOALS (Gaining Opportunities and Life Skills) program supports students' individual needs and maximizes their personal strengths. School staff work in partnership with students and their families to ensure that each student has individualized programming that leads to personal growth. Inclusive-minded programming focuses on students being engaged and connected to their school and community. Within the GOALS setting, each student is encouraged to build the skill sets they will need to be prepared for a successful transition into adult life. We focus on three foundational pillars, including academics (literacy and numeracy), engagement and wellness to ensure each students program is individualized to their learning needs and identified personal interests.
