JOB DESCRIPTION
Assumption School is seeking a grade 4/5 teacher (1.0 FTE) for the 2026‑2027 school year.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with other staff members as well as have experience working with a diverse range of learners and have a passion for teaching.
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- have a current pastoral reference that they are active in a Catholic parish
- have a certificate of qualification issued by the BC Ministry of Education
- are committed to excellence in Catholic education
- have experience differentiating instruction and working with students with a variety needs
- demonstrate a positive and caring approach to students
- show exceptional communication skills
- demonstrate excellent teamwork abilities
- demonstrate a willingness to provide extra‑curricular opportunities for students
