GL Accountant – Six-Month Contract

Engage in a temporary GL Accountant position focused on implementing a new financial system for six months. Facilitate reconciliations and maintain the General Ledger.
Under the direction of the Finance Director, this temporary contract is essential to support financial operations during system transition. You will be instrumental in validating financial data, coordinating with various departments to ensure a seamless financial close, and identifying process improvements within financial practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in coordinating timely journal entries for financial closes
• Validate and test outputs of the new financial system
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Prepare regular GL reconciliations and benefit allocations
• Provide support for audits and financial analyses
Requirements:
