GL Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented GL Accountant to support core accounting operations in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, and ensuring account balances are properly reconciled across cash, payroll, accruals, and other balance sheet areas. The ideal candidate brings strong general ledger experience, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies and keep month-end activities on track.

Responsibilities:
• Perform weekly bank account reconciliations and record related activity such as service charges, card transactions, controlled disbursements, and other banking adjustments.
• Oversee petty cash activity by tracking balances, maintaining supporting records, and completing routine reconciliations.
