Opportunity Description
Under the direction of the Manager, MunicipalAssetsand Geomatics(“Manager”)and using established standards and specifications, the Geographical Information System(“GIS”)Coordinatorwill assist in the development and maintenance of theMunicipality’s Geographical Information System. Working with internal and external stakeholders, responsibilities include the preparation and maintenance of spatial data and associated database records; cartographic data entry and the preparation of physical and online mapping, etc.; assisting with GPS data capture & integration; gathering data from a variety of sources using existing spatial files, plans and databasesandassisting as required with other aspects of mapping and data management.
