Position Overview:
The GIS Analyst performs professional geographic information systems (GIS) work in support of the City's GIS Division and departmental operations. This position is responsible for maintaining GIS data, producing maps and visualizations, supporting routine spatial analysis activities, and assisting departments with GIS-related requests and applications.
The GIS Analyst works under general supervision and serves as a technical support resource for GIS operations. Responsibilities include maintaining geospatial datasets, supporting field data collection efforts, assisting with GIS application support, and producing cartographic products for internal and public use.
