Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Geotechnical Engineer/Civil Engineer to join our team. The role involves supporting various major geotechnical and geo‑environmental projects including investigation, design, and construction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform and/or coordinate a variety of geotechnical/civil engineering tasks to complete designs for projects, including remediation and infrastructure projects such as cutoff walls, mines, landfills, bridge foundations, roadway design, retaining walls, excavations, and solidification.
- Write design reports and memos.
- Assist in developing design drawings and writing technical specifications.
- Perform and/or coordinate engineering calculations, such as slope stability, settlement, and finite element analysis.
- Develop and/or coordinate field investigation programs.
- Complete investigation and construction field assignments as needed.
