We have an excellent opportunity for a third‑generation general surgeon to join our team at Cariboo Memorial Hospital. This position offers a broad surgical practice in a collegial, supportive group and welcoming community setting, with a teaching component for UBC students and residents. New graduates or experienced surgeons are welcomed.
Location : Williams Lake, BC. The hospital is a 31‑bed facility with emergency, ICU, operating rooms, medical‑surgical and obstetrical units, ambulatory care, diagnostic services, and a five‑bed psychiatric crisis stabilization unit. There is 24‑hour general surgery and obstetrical specialist coverage, full‑time radiology, and a pediatric specialist. Visiting ophthalmology, rheumatology and psychiatry specialists are available.
