GENERAL MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
ROLE PURPOSE:
The role holder has overall operational responsibility to the CEO for all components and departments of a business, general management of, and control over, the businesses, activities and other affairs of the business in accordance with the policies, strategies and mandates established by the Board.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Key Result Areas)
Strategic:
With direction from the CEO lead implementation of the strategic plans for the business sustainability and growth.
Lead the process in communicating and implementing the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction.
Analyze daily operations to evaluate performance of the business and its resources in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, operations/product or service improvement, or policy change.
