The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Range Safety Engineer. Provide professional engineering services to support test & training operations. Provide expert technical direction for Flight Termination System development. Help develop and manage range safety policy. Provide technical & safety assessments & consultative services related to range safety. Responsibilities Plans, organizes, and oversees the range safety activities of the Utah Test and Training Range. Perform safety assessments of test and training activities and programs at the UTTR. Reviews and directs modifications to program/project plans and procedures to meet existing safety standards as needed for application. Manages and interpret range safety policy.
