General Duty Sonographer - Repost

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Charge Technologist or designate, the General Duty Sonographer performs ultrasound services as defined at regional and local levels and as requested by physicians. Responsibilities include effective patient management, exam requests, diagnostic file management, equipment and supplies management, and maintaining standards set by accreditation. Work is performed in accordance with the Mission and Values of Shared Health and current policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.

Experience

• Patient care experience preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Must be a graduate of an approved and accredited Ultrasound training program.

Certification/Licensure/Registration
