Summary of the role and responsibilities
- Analyze on-premises transactional database environments such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, PostgreSQL and evaluate and plan migrations to AWS RDS and Aurora.
- Develop and enhance database PL/SQL and T-SQL scripts to migrate from source databases to target databases.
- Identify workarounds for specific issues and corner scenarios observed during migration.
- Automate solutions for repeatable problems.
- Help design and implement AWS RDS and Aurora architectures and configurations for customers.
- Consult for optimal design of database environments, analyzing complex distributed production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize performance....
