Gastroenterology Physician Assistant

MedStar Washington Hospital Center is seeking a full-time inpatient Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our nationally recognized Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Program. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside leading cardiologists specializing in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary academic environment.

The APP will provide comprehensive inpatient management of patients with advanced cardiovascular disease, including acute and chronic heart failure, ventricular assist devices (VADs), heart transplant candidates and recipients, and patients requiring temporary mechanical circulatory support such as Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
