Job OverviewThe Furniture Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector ensures that products manufactured by vendor partners meet industry standards and the standards of Bob’s Discount Furniture’s Compliance Manual. Their goal is to assure that products can withstand regular use, are packaged and protected to withstand handling and transportation and that products work as intended as well as identify concerns outlined by QA management. Other responsibilities include:
+ Conduct inspections of furniture samples and current merchandise using app-based system providing detailed descriptions of packaging, workmanship and compliance.
+ Apply knowledge of various furniture and related products while monitoring returning merchandise to determine root causes of defects such as handling, manufacturing process, and/or packaging.
