Opportunity Description
Become an integral part of Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC) as a Full-Time Inspector in St. Albert. This role involves diligent inspections and compliance enforcement in the liquor and cannabis sectors.
At AGLC, we seek two proactive Inspectors for our Regulatory Services Division. Successful candidates will conduct inspections and regulatory investigations, ensuring compliance with various Acts and regulations. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to monitor responsible sales, educate stakeholders, and tackle non-compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections of liquor and cannabis facilities
• Investigate complaints and prepare detailed reports
• Educate licensees about compliance policies
• Respond to public and regulatory inquiries
• Ensure compliance with legislative guidelines
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in law enforcement or related field
• At least 2 years’ inspection or compliance experience
