Join the Sparwood Health Centre as a full-time Family Practitioner, enjoying a flexible work-life balance in the East Kootenays. Provide long-term care for your own patient panel while supporting the Emergency Department.
This position requires a current CPSBC License and CCFP eligibility, plus membership with CMPA. You will manage your schedule, with no overnight in-person call required, sharing an evening and weekend call with a ratio of 1 in 6. The Sparwood ED handles an average of 18 patients daily and is supported by a dedicated RN staff and the HART team for emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide longitudinal care to your own panel of patients
• Cover shifts at the Sparwood Emergency Department
• Collaborate with emergency-trained RN’s for efficient care
• Participate in a call rota of 1 in 6 for evenings and weekends
