Join Northumberland Ferries Limited as a full-time 3rd Class Engineer. Play a key role in ensuring efficient vessel operations during our sailing season, while maintaining safety as a priority.
We are seeking a dedicated 3rd Class Engineer for a year-round role within our supportive work culture. You will report to the Engineer of the Watch, taking responsibility for machinery maintenance, inspections, and crew management on our vessels based out of Wood Islands, PE, and Caribou, NS, ensuring top safety and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee maintenance, inspections, and machinery overhaul
• Manage engine room watches under senior direction
• Maintain scheduled maintenance records thoroughly
• Enforce pollution regulations consistently
• Delegate tasks to Oilers and supervise efficiently
