This is a remote position. EthicalHat is seeking an experienced Fortinet Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) Consultant to support security operations, firewall administration, and customer projects. This is a fully remote role ideal for cybersecurity professionals looking for a flexible consulting engagement. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls. Implement and maintain firewall policies, NAT, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), and security profiles. Perform firewall health checks, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Monitor and optimize network security posture. Support incident response and security investigations related to network security. Conduct firewall rule reviews and security assessments. Work with clients to design and implement secure network architectures. Prepare technical documentation and implementation reports. Collaborate with internal security and infrastructure teams.
