Summary This position is located in the Bureau of Political Military Affairs, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, Office of Defense Trade Controls Policy (PM/DTCP). DTCP provides oversight for a wide range of defense trade issues including development and implementation of defense trade policy initiatives, coordination and resolution of policy issues raised in the export licensing process, and liaising with the governmental and non-governmental communities on policies that impact defense trade. Responsibilities Issue authoritative interpretations of regulations and directs compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), and Export Administration Act (EAA). Represents the U.S. government in international negotiations within the export control regimes to support the implementation of the regimes.
