**Job Description**
This role supports a busy food service operation by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and small equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly, while maintaining a safe and sanitary dish room and service area. The food services worker performs opening and closing duties, supports meal service, assists with inventory handling, and upholds high standards of cleanliness and sanitation to help the unit run efficiently and effectively.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform opening duties, including setting up the dish machine, preparing bus tubs for soaking utensils and silverware, laying out floor mats, and immediately washing any pans or utensils requested by cooks.
